Buc-ee’s, the Texas-based convenience store chain, is planning to open its largest store yet in Phoenix’s West Valley. The Goodyear Planning and Zoning Commission approved a zoning request for a 71-acre vacant property to accommodate a Buc-ee’s along with restaurants, hotels, and retailers. The proposed Buc-ee’s would be over 75,000 square feet, potentially becoming the world’s largest convenience store. The company is known for its spacious stations, clean facilities, and made-to-order food. While construction details and the opening date are uncertain, Buc-ee’s has been expanding into new states, with plans for stores in Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Colorado, North Carolina, and Ohio.
