The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess has received unanimous approval from the Scottsdale Planning Commission for its expansion plans, including adding more hotel rooms, new food and beverage concepts, and expanding event space. The proposal, which includes a 155-unit guest wing, bungalows, an Italian restaurant, and a coffee shop, will now be reviewed by the Scottsdale City Council. The Princess aims to commence construction as soon as approvals are granted. The resort, located on 66 acres, has engaged multiple architecture firms for the design of its new amenities. Additionally, the Princess recently opened Privado Villas to meet the growing demand for luxury accommodations. Arizona’s hospitality industry continues to thrive, with numerous hotel projects underway, further enhancing the state’s reputation as a top tourist destination.
