Amazon has recently secured two significant industrial leases in metro Phoenix, including a 10-year lease for a 1 million-square-foot facility at Paloma Vista Logistics Center in Buckeye. The company is expected to utilize this space for an inbound cross-dock facility, consolidating products before shipment to other fulfillment centers. While Amazon has not disclosed the details of the deal, the new facility in Buckeye could potentially create numerous job opportunities. This lease represents one of the largest industrial leases in the region this year, along with another 1.2 million-square-foot lease at The Cubes at Glendale industrial park. Such large deals could help lower vacancy rates in the area and stimulate further industrial development. Additionally, the growth in the West Valley, facilitated by projects like Paloma Vista, could attract more businesses and enhance local amenities.
