A high-profile development team, including reality TV star Tareq El Moussa, is planning a $32 million RV, boat, and self-storage facility under the Storelocal Storage brand in metro Phoenix. The 185,889-square-foot facility, located at the northwest corner of Loop 303 and Cactus Road in Surprise, is a joint venture between Goldwater Pinckard LLC and Cedar Creek Wealth Inc. The project features 925 self-storage units and 54 RV and boat storage spaces, with completion expected by the end of the year. The development team includes Valley attorney Ken Pinckard, former U.S. Rep. Barry Goldwater Jr., and AJ Osborne, CEO of Cedar Creek Capital. The 10-acre site, acquired for $4.5 million last year, is part of the Prasada 303 AutoShow Development. The Phoenix metro area is expected to see a significant increase in new storage space in 2024, despite vacancy rates and average asking rents fluctuating recently.
