Sun State Builders (SSB) has begun construction on Crossroads at Surprise, a 114,495-square-foot industrial facility for The Widewaters Group Inc., located on a 7.3-acre site at 134th Avenue and Bell Road in Surprise. The $11 million project is set to be completed by September 2025. Designed by Ware Malcomb, the facility will feature a 130-foot truck court, multiple loading doors, 32-foot clear height, and 132 parking spaces. The Widewaters Group sees this facility as a valuable addition for companies in need of advanced, adaptable space in the area. This project offers 114,543 square feet of flexible industrial space for logistics, manufacturing, and R&D companies, tailored to meet the needs of both large and small businesses. SSB, a Tempe-based contractor with over 50 years of experience, is leading the design-build for this project.
