Construction has begun on Northside at SanTan Village, a development spanning 20 acres between Williams Field and Ray roads in Gilbert. The project, led by Okland Capital and San Tan Development Group, will include new restaurants, retail spaces, and a 134-key Marriott Springhill Suites. The first phase features six buildings totaling 37,245 square feet of retail space, with the hotel construction starting next month. This area, part of an emerging retail and restaurant corridor, is already home to significant developments like Epicenter at Agritopia and SanTan Village. The developers aim for a grand opening of the retail and restaurant buildings in November 2025, and the hotel in early 2026. The entire project represents an investment of over $100 million, with the first phase accounting for $60 million to $70 million.
