The Bongiorno family, founders of the Potato Barn furniture chain, is planning to open The Nox, a new live music and entertainment venue in southeast Mesa, near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The 60,000-square-foot, two-story venue will hold up to 2,000 concert-goers and host a variety of events, including concerts, corporate gatherings, weddings, and dance events. The Nox will also feature video and audio recording studios and aim for a design that blends modern and old-world Chicago aesthetics. Mesa-based Streamline Cos. will oversee the development, with construction expected to begin in mid-2025 and finish by 2027. The project will benefit from its proximity to the airport and nearby hotels.
