Construction has begun on the first Tempo by Hilton hotel in the Phoenix metro area, located in Mesa at Power Road and Loop 202. The dual-branded Tempo by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton at Gallery Park will feature 174 rooms, with Tempo offering 97 upscale lifestyle rooms and Homewood Suites providing 77 extended-stay suites. Amenities include a resort-style pool, fitness areas, event spaces, and a full-service restaurant with a New American menu. Part of the larger Gallery Park mixed-use project, the development will also include over 1 million square feet of commercial space, 305 luxury apartments, and community areas. The project aims to address the growing demand for hotels near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport as the area experiences increased travel activity. Tempo by Hilton, which targets younger travelers with a focus on wellness and experiences, has three existing locations in the U.S. and is rapidly expanding, including another Arizona location in Tucson.
