Tavern Park, a $13 million dining and entertainment venue, is set to open next summer in Peoria’s P83 entertainment district. Spanning 13,000 square feet, it will feature a sports bar, rooftop lounge, nightclub, and an indoor park, with capacity for about 550 guests. Created by the team behind Phoenix’s Lookout Tavern, the venue will be located at 8320 W. Mariners Way, previously occupied by Modern Round. Tavern Park aims to attract sports fans, diners, and nightlife enthusiasts, and plans to hire around 150 staff members. The first floor will house a sports bar with a 125-foot LED wall, a dog-friendly patio, and areas for dining and games. The addition of Tavern Park continues the expansion of Peoria’s entertainment options, which recently saw openings like Postino WineCafe and North Italia.
